Dr. Jake Herring was born and raised in Dallas, TX. In the early years of his life, he visited doctor after doctor trying to find an answer for his unexplained excruciating low back pain that kept him from doing the things he loved. When he was 12 years old, he started receiving regular Chiropractic care. Not only did the low back pain disappear, but other areas of his life began to improve as well. He started noticing his learning disabilities got better, and his athletic performance improved. This inspired him at a young age to become a Chiropractor so that he could help others unlock their potential. “I was fascinated to learn of the power that the body has to heal itself once it is free of nerve interference. I love the fact that Chiropractic has a direct effect on the brain and every organ in the body allowing them to function optimally. Our bodies strive to heal, and all it takes is a Chiropractic adjustment to help facilitate that process.”
Dr. Jake’s passion for Chiropractic and serving others continues to grow more and more every day, which started when he went on a Chiropractic mission trip to Haiti. He enjoys caring for people of all ages, particularly families, infants and young children.
Dr. Jake received his Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and then went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University.
Dr. Jake is also a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is Webster Technique Certified, and is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Jake enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and staying active.

Catelyn was born and raised in the DFW area. During college, she quickly realized that the mainstream health profession was not the direction she wanted to go as she had previously planned, but could not quite narrow down a career path. After obtaining an A.S. in General Sciences and having her son, she became interested in holistic and alternative health care.
Upon returning to her husband’s hometown of Lubbock in 2018, Catelyn and her family became patients at Global Health Chiropractic. She was amazed at the difference in her energy levels, as well as the decrease in her husband’s neck and back pain. Seeing what an addition chiropractic visits made to her family’s healthcare inspired Catelyn to apply for the front desk position at GHC when it opened up.
