Starting this July, we are welcoming an amazing chiropractic student intern to the Global Health Chiropractic team: Miss. Claudia!
As part of their clinical education and mentorship, Claudia will be working alongside Dr. Wilson to deliver exceptional care, answer your questions, and serve our community—always with a licensed doctor present. You may already recognize Claudia from her time as a Chiropractic Assistant here while finishing her undergraduate degree at Texas Tech!
At GHC, we believe in growing the next generation of chiropractors through mentorship, hands-on experience, and a heart to serve. These two are here to learn, grow, and help you create your wellness.
Meet Claudia,
Favorite quote: Everything runs through Lubbock - Joey McGuire
Something I have learned during Chiropractic school: How much getting adjusted helps with focus and brain fog! Speaking from someone who struggles with focusing, especially when it comes to studying, getting adjusted helps so much. Overall, I feel like my attention span increases and memory improves after an adjustment. Versus when I didn't get adjusted I would get so tired and almost forget everything I spent hours trying to learn. I always get adjusted before an exam or a big night of studying!
What I am excited for at GHC: I worked at GHC when I was at Texas Tech! When I say this was the best job ever, I truly mean it. I made amazing connections and friends with not only the patients but with the staff! I got to see miracles before my eyes with babies, families and athletes. Working under Dr. Wilson taught me so much about health and being overall a great person and leader! I loved coming into the office everyday and it being a positive experience for the staff and patients. The fact that I get to come back to my favorite place and be a Doc now is a dream come true! I'm in this for the long haul!!
Why you chose Chiropractic: A lot of people don't know this
about me, but I actually suffered from severe ear infections when I was younger. When I was 5 I had an ear infection that actually took away most of the hearing in my right ear. Not only did I have hearing loss, I also had horrible ringing, vertigo and my right ear could really never adjust to different pressures. All of these issues often made it difficult in school for me and I would get nauseous very frequently. I started going to the Chiropractor for sports purposes when I was about 13 and through getting my neck adjusted for several visits my right ear issues drastically improved! Now I can hear significantly better out of my right ear and my vertigo hasn't happened since I was in high school. Chiropractic care changed my life so much I wanted to be able to give someone else the same relief and purpose!
